I feel like I have lost everything
From where on earth did this horror spring?
I feel like I can not go on
without my dog to lie upon.
I feel like never waking up
to all the memories of my pup.
I feel like she is watching me
From up above where I can't see.
I feel like she is happy there
But all this sadness I cannot bear.
I feel like she will never leave
me alone here while I grieve.
Oh please Mia,be happy where you are
Because your memory is never far.

I hope this makes you feel better Night-Owl. I myself have lost two cats in the same year. (last year) It feels like they are just outside but then you remember they're gone. I cried myself to sleep for like 4 times that day. I hope this poem about your dog is good.

Such a sad and personal write. I never could imagine how people could get so close to their pets. But now that I have a dog, I would be completely lost without him. Congrats on the HM.

Thank you! I loved this! It made me feel a little bit better. I feel as though I wrote it. It's exactly how I feel. I keep wanting to go outside and feed her. Then I remember she's not there. Thank you so much.
