I see with avengence no thanks to you,
'so spake the masters voice'
Aggrieved at something I had said there wasn't any choice.
So off I went to the cupboard and got his favourite whip
Then down on all fours before him
He even made me strip.
(Which was unusual and I should have realised something was not at all well with him because, normally, he would wait until his mother left the room, if not the house most days).
After punishmant and biscuits I tucked him up in bed,
'Good night god bless I love you'
These were the last words that he said.
How I miss those touching moments, but I will take them to my grave,
They are coming in the morning,
Must get some rest now. Must be brave.
It's not easy when someone you love just gets up and dies for you for no particular reason other than they are too old to carry on,
I will miss my uncle tom....................................

Thank you for entering my competition. I love the randomness and humour in this piece and feel it fits with the abstractness of the prompt very well. Well done!
Best wishes
