Heart

I'll sell my heart to you...
My soul
My life,
Whatever

You won't pay?
You're repulsed by the sight...
Of my heart
Throbbing for you?

Then I'll give it to you
Free
No cost at all
...You still won't take it?

Well...
Too bad!
It's yours now
I've given it to you
Keep it

So now,
I see my heart
Right before me
Throbbing,
Bleeding,
Cut
Torn

But I can't pick it up
I can't fix it...

It's yours now.

Awww this is very sad... I really can relate to it... when you love someone you cant' help give them control of your heart and what they do is their choice and yet, they can kill your hopes completely and make you feel so hurt, sad and used. Beautifully put, very relatable I think. x

    awesome job

great job with this one. i like it. it's a good mix. you know, i doesn't make me feel like calling you up and asking if you're okay, but there is a sad element. so, you're moving back to sad again? Well, i knew it was bound to happen. If if didn't, THEN I would call you and ask how you were and if you were sick.

    nice job...

I like the ending a lot -- very poetic and very simple yet very striking -- can't find a word for it, but it's a good poem. VERY good.

Normally I hate when people write when they're directly talking to the audience but you actually managed to pull it off superbly. A lot of emotion. Bravo!

Hmmm... I like the way you wrote this. Not a serious amount of emotion, just the right mix of light humor and a deep subject. Bravo.
