...and he painted creation
in all her glory;
velvet softness
of midnight skies,
peach coloured hues
of Spring's allure,
draped in virtue's
pristine delicacy
...and he painted
with the eyes
of a yearning lover,
as her curves
seduced his brush
into drops of temptation.
She moved
in such unfeigned innocence
that his palette needed
but one ripe colour
as he portrayed his adoration.
The canvas of his desire
would haunt his soul
until eternity.
