Intense
It is not until we can calmly get down to unadorned basics setting them boldly aside, that more fragile truths can be seen, here in metaphor. It is in seeing hidden truths, and in accepting their source, only then can tender hope return.
There is beauty here, hidden behind the shock of the first line, and resilient strength.
