Perfect

I dreamt I lived in a perfect world
Of pansies and glitter and lace
Where the butterflies played with the bumblebees
And left kisses upon my face
In a meadow dazz’ling with light, I paused
To give thanks to the Heavenly Father
For making a land so peaceful and grand
But then I thought to myself, “Why bother?”

I dreamt I lived in a perfect place
Where everyone thought the same
And each one of us had an equal amount
Of money and power and fame
While there, I sent another man sprawling
As I sauntered, serene as can be
I was going to help him, but then I wondered,
“What’s this rouge ever done to help me?”

I dreamt I lived in a perfect land
Where I shouted prayers to the sky
And each one was answered, exact to the word
In a blink and a wink of an eye
In this country, I simply followed my heart
And believed in whatever it said
(Of course, something still answered my prayers;
If it didn’t, I’d curse it instead!)

I dreamt I lived on a perfect Earth
Full of cheer, joy, and bliss, but no pain
Where adventures a-plenty – they pandered to me!
And the dragons were easily slain
Oh, to live in this perfect world!
Where peace covers land and the sea
Where each person is pretty and loving and kind
And no one is selfish...but me

Please tell me what you think

OK Quank, I'll accept this at face value. I love it. The only thing stopping me from living in this perfect world is me.[ There are a lot of ' me's ' out there.] Very well done
