Who cares of a man

 with indifference for fans...

I am not one for the electorate.

Politics is an excuse
for those who view with
lies and rhetoric fabled,
rendering judgement of scripture
shabbily enabled.

I have no golden teeth my dear.

For all of the mettle...
Don't give me excuses
or comments aplomb,
Honesty has hitch-hiked
out-a-here.

    i think this is a great write! it causes us to ponder why we really support our favorite politicians. is it because we agree with their lies or because we have honestly in common?

    ah honesty, we do not like honesty in life, we just like lies, great big whoppers and little white ones too, they seem to rule the days. people too do not like others speaking back to them i find. a good poem.

    love the golden teeth reference
    and did not knoe honesty hitch-hiked. never allowed my kids to hitch..... only creeps take hitch-hikers.... so honesty will surely get raped/killed etc.

    Not sure what exactly you are writing about here, I see some things that need correcting, or mayhap rewording, starting with the first line. Maybe try 'Who cares for a man' that seems to make more sense than the other way. Aside from the usual misspellings, LOL (which I promised I would never mention) this an intriguing write. I think that it may be referring to the politics 'round here??

      so I looked it up, of refers to the state of a man with indiference for friends, vs. for a man -would refer to the man specifically, as I refer to the whole, not the man.
