~Golden Ray...

Missing image
your golden beams shine
even in space -
they cast a
wondrous glow

since the dawn of time
you have shown us the way
mother nature set you high

people have often
revered you as God
harvest time was bountiful
during your hottest months

your rays touch our soul
as no other can
tanned sun worshipers
all gather on the beach

may your light
keep shinning bright
to hold the night at bay

May the light that shines in space forever complement the light that shines forth from your heart. Peace.
