how many times can I get up just to fall again?
just like flying on burning wings, doomed to drop
drowning in dreams of all I cannot be
no feathers holding me aloft
falling isn't flying
always alone it seems with broken pieces falling away from me
not everything can be better tomorrow
never crying though, wake me from this slumber
my nightmare is getting worse
falling isn't flying
fly to fall
fall to fly
fly to high and then you fall
fall to far and die
falling isn't flying

Sometimes I can agree with this. I absolutly love the last stanza. fly to fall fall to fly fly to high and then you fall fall to far and die falling isn't flying So much meaning and so much emotion

pretty good write. i think that the lack of details was probably intentional, but i think it might be better if you included some to make it more personal. just a suggestion. effective use of alliteration. thanks for entering.

I like this. It's really good. It is well written and has a nice flow. I wish you much luck in the competition.
