Fallen from the heavens
into stormy clouded skies,
she sits alone in solitude,
tears streaming from her eyes.
She tries to piece together
all the remnants of her heart
that was broken oh, so recently
and tore her life apart.
He told her that he loved her
and they planned their life anew
envisioning their union
as couples often do.
A wedding planned in earnest;
All the invitations sent
and her vows had all been written
understanding what they meant.
She promised to be faithful
and to be a loving wife,
to honor him and cherish him
all throughout her life.
The wedding day not far away,
her world came crashing down
and caused her face to ashen
with the message so profound.
A collision on the highway
resulted in his death
within the twisted wreckage,
he took his final breath.
She pretends to go on living.
She imagines a new start.
She has visions of her future
with only fragments of a heart.

omg! this is soo sad! i actually started crying after it said that she got word of his dying in the car crash. poor girl. this is very very very very good. i love it. the rhyming was really good, and the rhythm was amazing. keep up the good work!
