So Gracefully..

In the darkness surrounding you,
Pick up your robe.
Wrap it gently and carefully around your aching shoulders,
Take up your cane
And make your way outside..
Down into the courtyard,
Can you see the moons gaze upon your pale skin yet?

A powerful light shines over you,
A truer reflection
Is not known here.

Sand, grainy shards- course against your soft feet,
Wet patches sucking them in,
Trying to make dinosaurs out of men.

Down to the oceans open arms..

DIp your feet in the water as the waves come;
Splashing right up to your crooked face,
Making your eyes weep.

Weeping for the graces,
Gods of places,
People, saviors.

Take calm contemplation in the soft-
Hushing sounds of the liquid beneath you;
Slushing violently before it loses the power to wreck ships
Before you,
The gentle breeze on your side,
Flowing your hair around your body,

So gracefully..

Grey it is,
But still filled with the energy of life that you held in that moment in time,
Forgotten long ago
When each strand was born from the root.
Kings' and Queens' aside...

Hands let go of all other senses,
Picking up the sounds again,
Closed eyes filling once more with tears,
Wiping your face clean
Of all the hardships-

Those tough decisions life brought about,
The fear of the work still left to be done,
Perhaps even long before
You say your final goodbye's to the day,
Still so much to be said.

So gracefully..

Fear does not belong here,
Logic has no place in the river.
Faith and wisdom,
Old, and new meeting in this mystical fusion,
Good morning and good night,
Good bye and hello.

Trust and the lies it creates.

Manmade from minds ticking like clocks,
Afraid too of the time limits,
They know they must do something,
Anything to be remembered.

On a fruitless quest to..
Stop time.

Oh, but how the Earth will remember you,
All that you gave, all that you went through,
How the birds will sing,
Each morning in memory of this.

...Washed away...

Nothing lasts forever,
But nothing ever truly dies,
Nothing is really forgotten,
Just well hidden from young eyes
And well trained sights alike.

Go down to the oceans lips,
Caress deep hope within you,
Freedom in the dark;
A growing passion,
Movement in these ancient palms
Of long lost travelers lost before at sea.

Claimed by the depths.
Uncalmable;
Natures relentless cycle.

So gracefully..

Water droplets all over you.
Glowing in the gentle light,
Basking in the white night.

Deep breaths for free falling clouds.

Author notes

Random poem ;o; Lately I haven't been drawing/writing anything much that I like xDDD::; just little bits of randomness D: I don't really know what this is about.. Only really that it's about life and.. Accepting it.. or clearing your head.. O: But I wrote it while listening to 'Somewhere Only We Know' by Keane and for some reason it makes me think of the sea... I think I'm going to be putting this on the back of a card for my class ;o; Or something of that like. xD;

Please tell me what you think
