Night holds its breath

Night holds its breath

    Wrapped
        around sinuous treelimbs
    dang-
            ling
                    snakes hang in
            brazen lover's
                    knots

Watching from above
as if i were a conspiratorial spirit
                    outside my body

Your familiar reflection
          from that mirror
                  more naked than the stars

Summons me again...

I'm not the biggest fan when it comes to reading erotica poetry, but this one definately managed to grab my attention.

How graciously you weave these words, using great imagery that way and avoiding cliché alltogether.
You have done a great job with the sensuality here.

thank you for entering - I wish you all the best.

What an image this weaves, the dangling tree limb line is excellent. This one I can really get into and the closing is superb.
