Why mind becomes arid
Instead of vineyard
Seed takes eternal time
to foment and germinate,
Is it trodden upon?
Like many feet on clay
A soft tender virgin
turned into,
hard impervious stone.
Author notes
Mind become invulnerable with kneadings

This was certainly different from all the other writes. I'm not really sure what to make of it to be honest. It leaves with with an impression but I don't know what that impression is. If I'm making sense

Thank you -
Very well done brother. Good luck with this one too in the contest. Hope that you do well

several metaphors come into my mind while reading your poem : one is told by sri ramana maharshi, when he speaks of a seed that has been put into a frying pan, and will not sprout and grow (the roots and tree of ego) anymore ...
the second image is that of a pot made of clay which has to be put into the fire in order to be made waterproof ...
like the meditator's (or non-meditators
) body through the (non-)practice
of onepoinedness ...
a great lesson in spirituality, my bhaiji
