Pretty In Black

Gothic sombre her mask,

The harrowing darkness
of death, like candy to a baby
brought her close to the edge.

Nightmares consumed
lullaby conformity.

In blood riddled dark times….
She found; love, hope and joy

Interesting, very interesting. The ending was unexpected but still good.

Thanks for entering and I'm so very sorry it took months for this contest to close. (I'm somewhat patient)
