Deep in
The saccharine
Dream of
Your return, I stumble
Slowly
Into you, envelope myself
Within
Your phantom embrace, rejuvenation
From the
Shadow land, where your smoky quartz
Cocoa
Eyes open and welcome
Sleepy
Recovery
From dark
Eidola that
Reached
Out their whispering hands
And cut
Pieces of your soul, holes like stars
In the
Black night sky, like my crystal tears, shining,
Streaming
Down my face as you faded out,
Into
Ashen nothing, into
Dismal
Melancholy—
Dim shade,
An empty trace,
Grayscale;
A hollow relic I
Worship,
Remember in secret, kissing
Your ghost,
My reverie before the chimera
Prevailed
Because baby, home isn’t home
Without
You, your loss ringing like
A cracked
Bell, melody
Broken.
Author notes
Written in a form I invented myself dealing with syllables. Challenging but fun to attempt. This poem is totally heartfelt.

Feeling This
I have/had a love that makes me feel just like this. Pain can turn into pleasure if he would just smile for me over the phone.....lol I love this and maybe you can teach me this style someday. Hugs~ Cuddles
