Fire and Ice

I would say the world will end,
in fire.
Flames and desire already rule the world,
People can't resist the heat.
I could be wrong becuase,
Ice,
could be as devistating,
In its own way.
People with ice in their hearts,
not able to find warmness and compassion.
Fire or ice,
will surely win,
The question is,
Which would the world prefer?

This piece takes a good look at the extreme opposites, yet points out that it doesn't matter which of either option is chosen, there is no difference in the end.

    Good write.

You have taken Frost's poem and given it your own unique voice. I have always had a fear of fire, but after reading your verse I realize that I would not want to be frozen either. An interesting thought that should be punctuated with a ?. Thank you for your entry. Peace, Liz

A lovely use of the title and the question in the end here. It flowed very smoothly and was filled with great depth. We do need your screen name here and you may want to run the spell check as well as check the use of capitalization after that first period. An excellent entry that I thank you for and wish you the best of luck with. Joyce

Wow. This is a great poem. It really does remind me of Robert Frosts' Fire and Ice poem.

    Really great!
