Banana Split

When I get Ice Cream,
I like to spree,
Not just one,
nor two,
but three.

Three big scoops!
yeh! that's for me,
put them in a boat,
on a chocolate sea.

Pineapple topping,,,.
on one icy mountain
strawberry flows
from an endless fountain

Sprinkle with nuts,
over a blanket of Fudge,
mix all together,
into syrupy sludge.

Wash it all down,
with a Root Beer pop,
top off cream piles,
with a Cherry on top.

Slice that banana,
split it in two,
and give me two spoons,
one for me, and one for you.

    i just sit with a tub and eat it from there, why get a dish dirty only to wash it afterwards a good fun poem.

    I especially enjoyed the "in a boat, on a chocolate sea," and "syrupy sludge." Expression of generosity at the end with the "two spoons." Nice rhyming. Is that a pancreas I hear screaming??
