Question #1
I have no doubt that I will be going to heaven when I die. I know this as fact as it's found in the scriptures: John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only Begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish, but have ever lasting life." I believe that Jesus walked this earth, died on the cross, was buried in a tomb and rose from the dead to walk the earth again just as He promised He would. The Bible promises us that if we believe this to be true then we are guaranteed eternal life. Now this comes with responsibility, we are to become witnesses for God and tell the world so that others will come to know the truth and can have this gift of eternal life. Matthew 28:19 says "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit"
Question#2
I think those who claim to be Christians and show zero amount of tolerance are ignoring the very basic instructions of the bible for the Lord says"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit" Matthew 28:19. These instructions tell us we are to show tolerance, for if they were not lost they certainly would not need our tolerance. As Christians we need to give tolerance, we need to be there for them to help guide them to the Lord. Much too often people spend time being judgmental rather than finding a common bond that will attract a lost person to Christ, it really is not so hard to do. Don't judge them, but bond with them instead. It makes showing them the error of their ways much easier down the road because you are not the one who has to show them, their own heart does it for them once they have gotten to know the Lord.

thank you for your answers -so glad you referred to scripture - I totally agree with you on #2 yet I believe we cannot compromise just to keep the peace but I do not think that is why you are tolerant - you have a heart for souls!! you are a blessing on this site and our prayers are with you - Satan wants to take us out but I think he suffered brain damage when Christ stepped on his head - he still thinks he is going to win!

Amen! We can be tolerent without losing our testimony, Christ ate with sinners. Yet he still told them the truth.

Great essays, Sis! You've got it just right. It's not by our merit, but by the blood of Christ shed to cleanse us of our sin - when we accept His gift, we are freed by His mercy and Glory bound. Halleluia!

Great ANswers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You are right on both accounts!!! You are a wonderful witness to the love of Christ. Spread the truth in love, that is the answer. The God-like kind of love and if we keep that in mind and the fact that our only resposibilty is to witness the truth in love then leave the rest to the Holy Spirit...God is in control and will do his job as we do ours!!! Thanks for sharing your insight!!!~~Toni~~
