Love and a Question

Missing image
Image Credit: Orange Moon

That I might see a smile to light your eyes,
so gentle in the way of tender touch
where you have found my core in questioned love;
that I the poet surely would have wrote
a verse to gift and charm your graceful mind.

Each word to fill the spaces of your need
on parchment pure and coarse with budding ink
presented wrapped and marked in sealing wax
draped tight within the ribbons of my soul,
as I expect your answer to my plea.

And so I wait beneath a starlit sky
encompassed by the moon glow of your heart.

    You have such a graceful, touching style that blows like a soft perfume across the room; never overpowering, but a subtle reminder that a beautiful person just entered. While I loved every line, I found exceptional beauty in "Each word to fill the spaces of your need". Thank you for your entry, Peace, Liz

    I am blown away by the elegance of this piece that is magnificently penned and presented. You captured the essence of the title and gave to us such elegance that you always do. It flowed straight to my heart and I'm left SIGHING at the beauty of it all. I love the imagery and emotion projected from this one. Thank you for your entry and best of luck. Joyce

    i dont know Frost well, so i wont pretend to comment on that, this voice seems a bit different for you. It is very appealing, a natural, between us, style blending very elegant, poetic and deeply meaningful words... wonderful poetry here...PK
