Guard Tower Diplomacy,
is that what we need?
to heal the wounds of sovereignty,
of infected borders that bleed.
Shoot them all on sight,
as they cross the Rio Grande,
electrified fences,
sure, that's a good plan.
Let's let them in,
they make a good work force,
Give them Social Security,
and charge no Tax of course.
Give them all the benefit's,
America has to offer,
They'll send it all back home,
until they've emptied the U.S. coffer.
Or how about this?
I have a plan that's great,
we'll annex Mexico,
as the 51st state.
Until debate has ended,
this one thing's for sure,
there is no perfect answer,
there is no miracle cure.
They need to all go home,
and come back legally,
don't disrespect my laws,
don't think the milk is free,
Living here is a right,
for a freedom all have yearned,
living here is a privilege,
that daily must be earned.

Yeah! Send this to the President! I'm not kidding! Don't know what all this craziness is about but I do know that something has to be done. Thanks for this & for expressing what many don't want to! I'm a grandchild of immigrants that came here legally & worked their tails off to contribute to this country in the way that the USA provided for those who seek admission honorably! Yup...let's hold people to account for what they do! What on earth is this country coming to? Bravo Mark! 4 U!

I have many friends of all colors white brown black and we all work hard to have what we have . But the few that just draws welfare and from what I have seen today well Im fed up whan I have to work while they play . Lets take a count and do it right .Once they were the minority and they had the right .But looky here what we have today its time we changed places Id say .

This was a good poem.. the first stanza didn't have the best flow but I think the rest of the poem went quite smoothly. I must say I disagree though.. of course not condoning illegal immigration because it is breaking a law. But I think the illegal immigrants here now should be allowed to stay here now and apply for citizenship.. also I think the process to gain citizenship should be reformed so it's not so lengthy and expensive. You did speak truth though when you said there is no solution to this problem.

I think that issue raised here is now becoming obsolete with the slow introduction of the NAU or North American Union. There is a super hwy being constructed that goes from Mexico through the US into Canada. I personally believe that in the distant (or not so distant) future there may be a merging of the European Union and this North American Union to create the beginning of what some call the New World Order. The symbolism of a secret measure of control operating out of the US is rampant in our contemporary world although we are too blind to see it as a whole.

Good to see someone in A.P. who actually knows about the N.A.U. and S.P.P., etc.! Fortunately, several states are throwing up roadblocks to this superhighway. A lot of people are taking a second look. CNN, usually a very liberal news outlet, even took a stance against the superhighway. I pretty near fell out of my chair when I saw Lou Dobbs reaching out to Jack McManus of the John Birch Society to get his input. The Birchers have been fighting all manner of these sinister schemes since the '60's!

Benefits is a laugh! a joke, especially us so called UK Nationals, who get little compared to those who enter in
