I am proud to say it...
I have experienced
the rush
of jubilant energy
that comes
from writing poetry...
And that energy
has strengthened me.

I can relate to the feeling! Well, sometimes. Usually after writing something, I put it away for a day [during which I stress about metre and the diction I might've used and such... it's a pain in the arse]. And then when I go back to correct a poem, I go Hamletesquely and anally mad over it. I'm never very proud of my work. Le sigh.
So you're a bit lucky to feel that way, haha.
