The angel knelt by the waters of earth
gently running her hands under its silken flow,
she gathered it unto her heart
and blessed it for all of mankind.
Shaking the pollutants from its depth
and healing the creatures beneath the surface,
she cried for what had been lost
due to carelessness and indifference.

My lst thoughts on your beautiful picture, was of an angel kneeling by the water's edge. I didn't have a lot of verse from my muse, but I do kind of like what I did get...lol

I too cry fo what is lost, each day we lose a little more. Land is destroyed because our planet is becoming overpoppulated. each day another plant/animal species becomes extinct. the angel does not cry alone.
