Hooray, you're unique!
But they still call you freak
And they jeer, and they shout
As you show what you're about.
Envious as you parade without masks on
As they cover their own nature
Stifling their personalities, which are almost gone
Waiting for you to "mature"
You flip them off
Keep strutting as you were
You see them scoff
And point at you over there
And you tell them, to play their game:
"You laugh because I'm different
I laugh because you're all the same!"
And with a huff tell them to get bent.
Life's a short while
Other's opinions have no place
Nothing to do with your own smile
If you live your own life, us-your friends- you'll never disgrace.

This is really good. Shows that you don't care about what others think of you & I can relate to this because I don't care what other's think of me either. I've been calle a freak a lot in my life just because I like to be different. Wonderful write! Thanks for entering.
