Mirrors to the Soul

Many expressive looks come from a glance
Never a dull moment
Look deeply into my eyes my friend
There is whom I know
Love radiates like moon lite
The desire for acceptance shows through
Touch me with your aura
Seek me and I'll be there
I see God in your eyes
His familiar look of warmth
The eternal account of blessing
The mirrors to your soul
Beware of those that have none
You'll see it in their eyes

    Hi Bubs,

What a great job you did on this one! The eyes tell many things, don't they? One can not easily hide their true selves, as the eyes... All telling. And some always scream... with pain, or with love. What ever the soul is saying...

Best of luck in this contest!!

    and love

I really like this. I like to see a persons eyes, they can't keep things from showing in their eyes from the innocence of a child's to the wisdom of an elderly person. Well done for this my friend and niaish for sharing it with us here. Sheila

Niaish Ma eno from all your Children, when you look into eyes there you can see heart and soul, those of compassion, love and time for others, those of greed, hate, or anger and those who are lost, sad, neglected or hungry. It is the middle group I believe I would trouble to see the Gods face in, but who am I to judge, He can work miracles who really knows, we have only to look to the Old Testament and the parables and morals taught within to see how wrong a judgement this can be. Never should a face be taken at its own merit/value! Great write, thought provoking... Kindest thoughts and wishes, Anna-Marie.
