We've definitely both had our share of heartache
The most terrifying and painful smile we've had to fake
But you're the girl who doesn't dwell on the past
Making the most of the days that go by too fast.

We've both experienced lust and love
Deciding what we deserve and what's enough
You're the girl who listens to my distraught thoughts
All these battles we've been strong for and continuously fought
We've both been happy in almost every way
But we dread when the feeling will just slip away
&& you're the one person I can always go to
When I have not the slightest clue on what to do.

Its a god friend and a great tribute to your friend. You and your friend are lucky to have each other.
The poem itself seems well written. The rhyme is good as is the rhythm. The only thing I can say is the unnecessary punctuation. Its distracting and takes away from the poem. Good job though and thank you for entering my contest.

I will always be here for you! I may not be able to be there in person, but that doesn't mean that I'll ever stop listening! We've been through a lot together, and I have no idea where the hell I'd be without you. You keep me sane and my emotions balanced and you're REAL, unlike so many other people out there. I admire you for always holding yer head high, too, Mandalicious! You are sooo strong girl. We're not gonna let boys, or anyone for that matter, break us anymore. We have a freaking life to live!!! You've honestly helped me more in the past...what, is it 2 years now?...2 years than other people have in their entire life.
