The Look of Love

“Please, thank you, and

would you,” are not generally

necessary words for us as

keenly perceived glances and

subtle facial expressions

most often

speak louder than

any affecting articulation

when our eyes are drawn

together, like powerful

emotional magnets

sensitive only

to our love.

Author notes

“Look deeper still, into my eyes

For there you will likely find

Pure, true love you can realize.”

The eyes say it all, don't they?

    when our eyes are drawn
    together, like powerful
    emotional magnets
    sensitive only
    to our love.

I have felt the magnetism you write of and know that there is nothing like it in this world...no feeling matches the moment when you look into your lover's eyes and see your hopes and dreams shining there.

You write beautiful poems of love and I would like to return and read more.

Oh, the power of a glance and the emotions in a crinkle of the eyebrow. Faces are like open canvases to two people in love! This is beautiful! Best wishes in the contest!

Ohhh that's so true! How in tune you become with someone you love, their subtle movements or expressions are understood and read.

    Love this MJ!!

This is a poem all by itself, my dear Beautifully expressed feelings, as you always do. My best wishes to you in the contest.
