she hunts them in the lost field
among the deserted and the injured
death and blood are strong here
as if a river of sickness and death flowed on the fields
there she walks almost seduced by the carnage
amist the cries and the screams
like an angel of mercy she comes
heavy footsteps thunder along with cannon fire
bayonetts clash with gunfire
admist a civil war
boys and men all
beg for mercy and moan in pain
bidding her soldiers favor
she offers them an exchange
and to seal the deal with a kiss

This kinda gives me an Anne Rice type of feel to it...love the darkness in it, and could almost smell the blood and death in the air...great take on the painting...
