Too long has this gone on,
Self sorrow and pity
Dragging me down and along,
Oh truly I have wept too much.
There’s a dream that I see
Just a bit too far to reach.
Well I’m just a child,
How can I know the rules?
Escape the ploy you left me in,
Open roads, constant cannonading,
Emptiness has no influence
As the rising sun shines against my face.
This dawn is different from the last,
A split second of it was saving me
From a moon so hurtful, so damning
But turn the corner and the second is gone.
Turn me inside out again,
Your flashbacks aren’t worthy of me
Yet they continue to belt me, slap me,
Whip me into loving you again.
And as the sun rises farther
So too does this burning inside.
You’re ringing in my ears again,
I can taste your every molecule.
Bitter as ever, dry as never,
As separate as we are together.

Whoa what talent! It has a beautiful flow, the content draws the reader in and this line is genius 'I can taste your every molecule', it's so deeply descriptive and utterly unique. It sums up your poem perfectly.
Peace Georgia
