It’s Saint Patrick’s Day once again
And another whole year has passed by
Since the day I walked among the woods
And something unusual caught my eye
I spied a very strange little fellow
The queerest creature I’ve ever seen
He wore a belt of the brightest yellow
And his clothes were Emerald green
He danced and sang with joyful glee
Acting as though he had not a care
I don’t know if he was aware of me
But carried on as though I wasn’t there
He danced like a child although he was old
Then I saw what he was dancing around
Before my eyes there was a pot of gold
And a leprechaun jumping up and down
