everyone know that true love waits,
even though we may be in diffrent states,
i know that true love does wait,
i will wait for you even by heavens gate,
cause right now you are top rate,
there is one love for us all,
cause you know that true love does wait,
your true love will wait for you to fall,
but we all know that true love waits,
sometimes true love is what it takes,
sometimes true love can make your heart break,
just like one girl i know,
she has a heart of gold,
are true love will still always wait,
cause right now i would know how would you rate her,
i would give her a 10 that is for sure,
but if i may say,
i still love this girl in everyway,
and i will always hope she won't get away,
and that is why true love will always wait.

This is a great piece! I really like the emotion that comes through in it. My favorite lines are "i know that true love does wait, / i will wait for you even by heavens gate," I like those lines because those have the most emotion in them. Some of the rhyming seems a bit forced, but overall it was good. The title reflects the poem well too. Great job and good luck in the contest!

Awww ... thank you so much honey!!! This is so beautiful ... it made me cry ... I absolutely adore this piece ... but somehow it didn't get added to the contest ...
