What do you do when you find yourself,
In a place you're not sure you belong.
When in your heart it feels so right,
But your mind says it's all wrong.
You know that he's your everything,
But are you his dream come true?
In his eyes you see perfection,
But you see nothing good in you.
Jealousy pulses through your veins,
When they look his way.
You're so sure they're better than you,
And you're terrified he won't stay.
You couldn't live without those kisses,
That make you tingle and burn inside.
Or the feeling you get in his arms,
When you're laying at his side.
You see pictures of his exes,
They're so beautiful to you.
You can't help but sit and wonder,
Does he think you're pretty too?
You'd give the world just to look,
Like the girls on the television set.
To look like he's meant to be holding your hand,
And has not an ounce of regret.
Criticism in the mirror,
"Look at you-you worthless cow."
You don't deserve his love you know,
Tears start slipping as your head bows.
You can't look at you anymore,
You just can't see the tears.
Look at what you're doing to yourself...
Breaking your heart with fear.
Fear you're just not good enough,
He deserves much better than you.
You just can't be what he needs,
No matter what you do.
Stop...he asked you to marry him,
He wants to make you his wife.
He loves you...you're good enough,
That he asked you to be his life.
You hope that you can make it past,
And forget these feelings in time.
But when you try all you can see,
Is the heart you poured into these rhymes.
Please tell me what you think
