Love is like a butterfly.
It has wings and can soar high--
Like the sprited eagle,
or
It crawls without flight,
And like the tortise
It never reaches its ectasy!
So look above the clouds
not behind you--
And your world will become a fantasy
Of magic, mystery and romance.
And you'll dance through life
Meeting new challenges each day,
whereas,
If you crawl,
only looking in front of you,
Life will become dull and routine.
So spread your wings and fly
And like the butterfly,
Life becomes a gift--
And your treasures in life
Are wings of flight---
To any destination you choose

I so love you Dragonheart, infact -coughs to clear throat-
If leaves where love i'd send you a forest,
If tears where faith i'd cry you an ocean,
If love was sunshine i'd give you the sun,
And if you were mine i'd never let go.
Your a stunning poet and I don't think there is anyone who can write as well as you in this style, it's matter-o-fact, down to earth and yet it soars above me, makes me dizzy before dropping me back down, landing me with this hevy thud and suddenly i don't feel as amazed, as happy when it comes to an end because i know i'll have to go and read and coment on some one elses work that will be sourly disapointing...
your a super star and i take my hat of to you.

This is beautiful. You are right, the picture is pretty.

An interesting depiction of how to live life,
by improvising and being spontaneous. -
Dragonheart, This speaks volumes about your expriences and understanding of "LIFE".. I am inspired

Inspirational
First of all I would like to welcome you to our wonderfully unique and ecclectic community.
This is, in my humble oppinion, a very inspirational piece. It not only talks about what love can do for a person but you actually give very sound advice as to how to achieve said Love.
An excellent write which leaves me wanting to read more of your pieces.

wonderful message
I think you wanted "choose" in the last line.
Otherwise, a well executed, inspirational poem.
Watch out for typos such as "andn".
I think it is wonderful advice to look ahead and not behind, up and not down, soar and not crawl... too often we find outselves crawling with our head turned back, and we miss out on so much that way.
This reminds me of a thought I had while driving away from the sunset one evening recently... everything looks so much more beautiful in the rearview mirror... but the realization came that if I turned around to go back where I came from (so that I would closer to that beauty not driving away from it), it would be gone before I ever got to it, as the sun would set below the trees.
The moral of that story is - the past may look enticing from where you're sitting, but you left it behind for a reason and to go back would not make you happy. I see this in your poem as well.
Welcome to allpoetry and I look forward to reading more from you!
