Let fluffy clouds hang,
lullaby your soul
to dreams of
serenity.
Visions,
slideshows
of
happiest times
from an innocent childhood.
Season changing,
outside leaves falling.
Fresh, autumn air
circling.
Daddy,
at my bike's side
now minus the training wheels.
He senses my fear,
such a big step.
Picking me up
a caring embrace
and before I know it
I’m off, and away.
Why was I ever afraid?
He smiles,
So proud
The sun bouncing off windows
wakes me,
I’m contented.
Such a fondness
for my dreamy trips
down memory lane.

My trademark editorials:

- line 4. I'd lose the comma after "dreams"
- line 16. Apostrophe in "bike's"
- line 31. I'd also lose the comma after "trips"
That all for now. I'll be back with comments about content of the poem later. Thanks for the entry -
cute
