Somewhere from deep inside I rid myself of your formidable wrath,
you cast out your net and I hypnotically travelled along your path.
Your eyes would flicker, yout tongue whip me with fire,
while in terror I would sashay like your puppet on a tightrope wire.
There was a time when I would drool at your looks so divine,
but that gradually faded as I felt shivers crawl up and down my spine.
You seemed to find great mirth dishing out mere dollops of affection
forever seeking in me the slightest hint of imperfection.
Now you are but a cavernous memory of the past
I shall renew my spirit and be free of you at last.
