In blinking,
I saw you.
Trapped in the darkness
Behind swollen lids
Then gone with the moment, erased by the light.
As eyelashes touch,
My hand feels your back,
And tear ducts react.
In these fleeting moments I regain my sight.
I need time to gaze
Upon you in dreams.
Please, come in the night.
Leave blinked-away tears to memory's flight.

Blinked-Away Tears,
to memory's flight, wonderful thought there. While whort in length, your poem has great length in emotions. You have captured so much in so short a space. excellent write.
Thank you for sharing!

Oh, wow. Man. Do I love reading your work. To be honest, I don't think this was quite as good as your other work. Perhaps it's the awkward rhyme scheme, I don't know. I do know this: this is very pretty. Good luck.
