Cries To The Moon

Such soothing serenity,
From the cold blaze,
Of the midnight sun.

Her wings spread valiantly,
Across the skies,
As the light of the Celtic moon.

I can hear,
The wolves cry out,
In midnight hour.

This call of home,
In her light,
It’s what I’ve known.

I join the wolves’ cry,
For the Celtic moon.

Here’s to another year.

    Kyle,

I was actually trying to avoid reading the entries in this contest as I knew where I would end up while at the same time I knew I wouldn't get away with it still.

    As for your words here,
What can I say but thank you...
I simply have no words to offer here in graditude.
    I humbly thank you hun,
    I truly am touched.

    Blessings
    Bel

Different, I really like the celtic moon reference line 6 not what I would have expected from you, but still very good...much shorter than the last one I read...107 lines or something like that, for me this could be religious, but that's just me...but it's beautiful, and very nature realited...I have no clue who bel is it would be weird if I did, but she seems to be luck...cause from what I can tell you seem to care about her, and any one who can write like you is bound to be one emotional person (in a good way)....kudos to you...I don't see how you have no comments on this one yet...weird...

      I have my moments...
      Also, this is not religious,
      For me.
I suppose if you knew who Bel is,
You'd know why it looks that way.
      It's more just symbolic.
      Anyway, thank you.

      -Saint.
