Little Brother

He was born on March eight
In the year of ‘07
And as soon as he came
Life turned into heaven
A baby had come!
Let us cheer and share joy
Mother had given us
A new little boy!

As the first month came round
He grew big and turned pink
His eyes were still blank
But his hair was like mink!

As the second month came
His belly button fell
And he only grew bigger
Is all I can tell!

Then the third month came by
And how big he became!
And what a difference in size
Than when he first came!

As the fourth month came round
And the fifth one as well
He became strong and brave
And came out of his shell


On the sixth month and seventh
He started to laugh
And he sat with splayed legs
Like a silly calf!

And then on the eight and ninth month
A miracle came!
He tried stand up
And that brought him much fame!

About the tenth month
There’s not much to say
So we’ll move to eleven
To get on our way

At eleven months old
Eddy grew a tooth
What happiness it brought us
To take care for such youth

And now he is one
At last he’s a year
And we have all come to celebrate,
So now let us cheer!
