Silence Night

Lips pursed together
Notes written in forgotten language
Whispers, Whispers

Darkest Darling
Its Deadly Dangerous
In ebony alleys

Whispers, Whispers
The mouse to the rat
The cat will eat the rat

Whispers, Whispers
The wind to the shadows
What happens in day to make such dark night
  Such silence of night

Whispers, Whispers
Let it be taken away
Forgotten to only owls

Whooo? Whooo?
The owls cry
Trying to remember

Whispers, Whispers
Through trees and leaves
And into paper they become

To be the notes
Written on by forgotten language
Pursing my lips

The Whispers, Whispers
Of your tragic  death

In the Silence of Night

Pretty good, I liked the repitition of whispers and some of the alliteration was skillful. Thanks for entering. (beware the owl! )

This poem was quite exceptional. I liked the repetition of "Whispers, Whispers" It helped the flow and fluidity of this piece a great deal.
