Sun Sleeps At Sunset

evening gilded in golden kaleidoscope
stretched to the sea
easing upon boats

when the sea winks
the shore steals furtive glances
amongst probing glances of tidal waves

such is the sight unbeknownst
of the sun's fading elegance
to mellow
before retreating to the shadow of the hills

    your metaphors were really

good and the poem a pleasure to read. I think you may need to use caps and punctuation, not having them removes from the quality of a poem when it comes to judging , at least for me it does. Good write though

Thanks for entering and good luck in the contest
