Shattered remains
Splayed all around me
My head feels heavy
Within these,
My emptiest of arms
The embrace,
Twas but bittersweet
Oh why did you have to go?
These tears that stream,
Never will they dry.
This blood river that flows
Never will they cease
Your touch is still
Entagled within the netting
Upon my leg.
Your scent lingers heavily
Upon the lace I wear
Blades that danced upon my skin
Leaving liquid reminders of love
Across my back
These scars that will never fade
I wear you,
You're constantly with me
Haunting me
Fuck this,
I can't take it
Stop
Stop
STOP!
"Make it go away."
I shout for no one to hear
Frantic thoughts,
Will they ever stop?
When will those lambs
Ever stop screaming?
Don't cry because it's over
Smile because it happened?
Oh if I could only smile
But I've long forgotten how.
What a mess,
This room is askew,
Perhaps I'm not alone,
For this is something new.
For once
Everything is not in place
Finally this angel
No longer falls from grace.
Scarlett upon those ivory arms
Lovely
These walls behind me
Seem all too bare
Dipping my fingers
Into my sacred paint,
I paint onto my canvas
My final words.
Letting the blade
Feel once more heavy in my hand,
I place my head,
Once more in my grasp
"Fuck the life."
Loud and clear for all to see
Perhaps now they will listen
And I won't be there
To care
Perhaps now
You'll cease to even be
