What a grand possession
A grand necessity,
To sustain the very life
Entrusted to you and me,
Retain it's purity.
Of the things you thirst for,
For water, you should thirst the more.
Let's treasure this great gift,
If on earth we want to live
For without it, soon death comes,
Engulfing the unfortunate ones!

"Water, water, everywhere and not a drop to drink" remember those lines? Yes, we do need water and you said it so eloquently in your poem. I . myself, do not drink enough of this great gift of God. If we drank more water (not with scotch) I body would indeed be pure. Beautiful words in your verse. Thank yoy.
