Love is in the Eye of the Beholder

I was sitting
in the garden,
Master,

all alone

accompanied
by my pain
and a drizzle
of rain

my heart
felt cold
as stone

when a nameless bird
(forgive me
my ignorance ...
Your command was
for us to reign)
suddenly called out
your wellknown
Name:

Blinded by sorrow
I looked up
barely seeing
this brilliant
shine
reflected
in his eye:

But then I became
aware
of the swift
evaporation
of the Lie ...

I am not alone:

Oh how I love Thee,
Lord!
I saw pure Love
reflected
in his eye

You touched
this solitaire
called heart

turned stone
to flesh …

(stone chat, was the bird ...
the little one
with the reddish breast ...)

To see Him in the eye of our Brothers,
in the flight of the sparrow,
    in the breath of life,
in our pain - our sorrows

To watch Him see us through and
    To know Him.

    There is no greater gift.

With a sad heart beating the world is there, reaching, reflections fire the dance. A beautiful piece, so very gentle and loving.

There is a peace that overtakes me, as i read of you..something more glorious than even your wonderful words are at work within you..and i do know Who that something is..
Your Light radiates brighter than any i've read here..and gives me knowledge of ...
aaaaand before i go making myself look more creepy, i'll leave it at that
Your talent is astounding..but even more so, your spirit..

i've seen your name, but hadn't read of you until this night..i thank you for taking time to read of me..so that i, in turn, came to you...i will be back...

    much love & peace
    ~Pamela

What a fabulous way of telling God that you see him in everything, or how exquisite the moments when you do are. Often I find in the present moment God provides bliss just waiting to be realised. The change of tone in this poem is just brilliant, from the cold drizzle to the ecstasy of recognition. Thankyou for sharing your understanding Love RXXXX
