Softly blows a fresh breeze, heralding Spring
and with it the scent of fresh blooms does it bring,
lifting my spirits as the birds sing sweet songs
for I feel in my bones the arrival, so strong.
Gentle rains and soft sun tease the flowers to peek
as a bouquet of colours from underground sneak,
rainbow colours flash boldly across awakening skies
as birds on the feather spread wings, hovering high.
Beneath her tender warmth the chrysallis unfolds
as wings of gossamer fragility uncurl, looking like gold,
fluttering with care before testing the breeze
as I sigh at the beauty all around, feeling at ease.
Bluebells and crocus sway with great pride
while perfume from wisteria make my senses collide,
daffodils trumpet her coming so loud
as their bright, yellow hues burst right through the crowd.
I know Spring is here, all my senses alert
as I watch nature's children with each other flirt,
flitting and dancing in freedom so fine
knowing this is all part of her grand design.

This poem made me sigh and say "aaahhh". I love the rhyme scheme...added more emphasis to the poem. Everything was happy and flowing and the imagery was great.
Very beautiful job!
