I miss you Jam Jam
and I know how you miss me
I wanted nothing but the most for us
and i'm sorry that I hurt you
I'm lying here now and I'm about half way home
I'm surrounded by people who are surely washed up
worn out and tired
and I don't need to wonder where you are

Probably even sitting in the same position
Scribbling away in your notebook

I miss lying in the bum fort with you
after what had to have been a 10 mile hike
lost in bear country
after slimly escaping death
I remember looking over at you
seated on that tremendous drop off
and I thought back to when we had shared our life's stories
comfortably on each-others sofas
and I knew then that I loved you
So close to death
I knew then that I could never let you go
And I almost cried
But it was no time for tears
When I screamed over to you
telling you not to move
I was scared Jaymie.
Yes I was risking my neck, fingers, legs, knee caps, and my ass.
