Disdained Circumference



Famed mystique left me hollow.
A mere window pane affection
stifling vanity’s sensual charms.

Cleaving silver leaf aspirations
as they singe reside upon flesh
far too fair for toxic innuendos.

Stardust ridden delights falter in
vibrations of disdained erections,
but I spore unyielding fantasy.

Climatic in journeys of grandeur,
I shall again reign paramount
over trivial terrestrial ramblings.

A vixen not stained, but gilded
encircling chaos, quite apathetic
as banshees make their final call.

    Sounds as if you got a silver for this in another contest, but it does not show here. How can one delete a trophy? Hmm. something to ponder over. Enjoyed the read, but that question keeps my mind preoccupied.

    Hm.. Not so much flow, but wonderfully written. Wonderful images... and wonderful overall. I thought this was a brilliant work of art...

    a good mixture of light and dark imagery, i had a quick look at the picture prompt, your poem works well with it, a good piece.
