Loss and pain embrace her,
as she treads down the path
of the broken-hearted, not
wanting to let him go, as he
left this world, so abruptly

The realm of sadness is under
a dark blanket of tragedy and
despair, when being a widow,
was the last thing, she had
expected to ever be, especially
in the prime of their newly
restored marital life...

He swore to make it up to
her, and she took his every
word to heart, but now, they
will never come to be, as he
lies six feet deep, and she
is left with empty arms and
cold, black lips and her ear
is filled with echoes of silence,
as he will no more, call out to her

Will she ever let go and move
on or is that a risk, she won't
ever be able to throw her bleeding
heart into?
