beneath bluebell skies and
honeyed eyes.

let us dip our toes into depths,
gulfs that separate

I shall dry my skin into
salt and draw flaxen
tears from the sun,
rest my head upon your heaving chest

waves upon waves,
wind upon wind,
weightless.

Very random, I know
I was actually inspired by this lyric...which is absolutely beautiful and just touched me with its elegantly lovely simplicity:
"Darling roll the window down
I can't breathe
And I want to feel the northerly down my sleeve
I love a sunburnt elbow pointing to the sea"
Ahhhhhhhh. I can just smell summer <3

It's a song called "The year of driving langorously" by the Lucksmiths. The funny thing is I've never even listened to the song. I just saw the lyrics online somewhere and they just happened to strike a chord in me
