Somewhere out there I'm sure the sky seems faded
Light gone away leaving one seeking
For that divine joy found only in the light
A sunrise, shadows flicker
Patterns of light scribbled across the
Enclosed walls of a home yet found

Still waiting to be renewed
With sight of a sky untouched
Mirth bubbling forth past lips
Caught and cast in shadows
