I love the sight of nature
its beauty makes me smile
I hear the birds
they chirp away
I'll listen for a while
I see the dew upon the grass
so early in the morn
and see stars twinkle in the sky
the world is made adorn
there's pretty flowers over there
getting watered by the hose
and scents of lilacs fresh
float up into my nose
I have to say it blows my mind
to see God's work be done
for without His creative niche
nature would be none
so when you see the sun
or birds fly up above
just know it all was made
by God's unending love.

A simple poem and quite lovely
I was actually hoping that the imagery would be a little bit deeper so that the reader can feel the words in his/her senses.
Other than that, I love the theme since it is true in my opinion; this poem was quite refreshing, all right

I'm not too fond of religious or rhyming poetry, and here you have both! However, I think you have done this piece in a way that is neither offensive or forceful in your beliefs, the way so much religious poetry is done.
This is such a peaceful and tranquil piece. It is truly beautiful and uplifting.
Great write and thanks for entering!

Ah! Such a comforting, tranquil, and pristine write, so eloquent! This definitely instills a bit of a vibrant flutter in the heart; arouses the somnolent wonder that lies within, so often made dormant by the distractions of society. Oh yes, the imagery is brilliant. Mornings of this nature are the kind that paralyze the breath and widen the eyes that lead into the soul. It is most captivating. Definitely places a deep calmness within the reader, replaces anxiety and fear and trepidation with awe, inspiration, and security. I especially loved the lines, “I hear the birds
they chirp away/I'll listen for a while/I see the dew upon the grass/so early in the morn/and see stars twinkle in the sky” Oh yes, very beautiful! Well done!!!!
