My first pair of cowboy boots
They ahve been on my feet through every step of the way
Every horseshow and every ride
From every fall and every awsome run
Through all the dirt and the mud and the manure
They have been stepped on and have taken one hell of a beating
They have held my spurs and my hope
Those cowboy boots mean so much to me
They have seen so many memories
They are the symbol of country
They were with me from that supid little girl who had no clue what she was doing
To the girl i am now
Those boots were with me from my first show where i fell off
To my last show where my horse ran her first real run
Those boots may have holes and they may be too small
But they will always show me where i was and where i am
They may just be a hunk of brown leather to you
But to me they are a reminder of how far i have come
And how hard I have worked to get there
